We strictly limit data collection to the minimum viable set needed to operate the platform securely and transparently.

Your Data Is Entirely Yours

Privacy expectations vary globally, but our commitment remains universal: we respect your privacy unconditionally. Your data is entirely yours. We will never share or communicate your personal information to a third party or for commercial purposes. To ensure you have absolute control over your digital footprint, we provide built-in capabilities that enable you to publish anonymously, restrict your visibility, or permanently delete your data at any time. While you are under no obligation to use the platform if you have privacy concerns, these features are at your disposal to ensure you can participate exactly as you feel comfortable.

Information We Collect

We only gather the information necessary to provide our services, and maintain the integrity of our cryptographic ledger:

• Account Information: chosen username, email address, and authentication credentials.
• Financial Data: Payments are processed via our secure trusted provider, Stripe. We do not store your full credit card numbers or bank details on Aquarelia servers. These are managed by financial services partner.
• Platform Activity: Your marketplace transactions, active bids, direct messaging, and uploaded assets for provenance monitoring.
• Technical Data: De-identified server logs and behavioral metrics to measure platform load and UI latency.

How We Use Your Data

We use the information you have supplied exclusively to:

• Facilitate swift transactions and accurate creator payouts.
• Ensure the rigorous security of the ecosystem, and actively enforce our Terms of service.
• Maintain a transparent and immutable provenance ledger via C2PA signatures.
• Deliver essential customer support and account status notifications.

Data Sharing

We fundamentally reject the philosophy of aggregating user metadata. We never sell your personal data to advertisers or third parties. We only share the minimum information with our approved infrastructure partners:

Payment Processors: Stripe seamlessly handles customer identity verification (KYC) and fiat payout processing on our behalf.

Zero-Tracking Infrastructure

Aquarelia is built on a privacy-first, and engineered with a zero-tracking framework. We do not utilize monitoring, advertising, or intrusive third-party cookies, which is why you will not encounter a "Cookie Consent Policy" modal. Instead of this, we natively use "Strictly Necessary" HttpOnly cookies solely to authenticate securely users and manage active sessions. These tokens are indispensable for core functionality and keep your connection state entirely self-contained.

Data Security & Retention

We use proven encryption protocols to protect your data in transit and at rest. Anonymized event tracking, deployed through isolated edge nodes, is automatically purged and the data is regularly cycled every 14 days. We retain your profile and activity data only for as long as your account remains registered with us.

Your Rights & Account Deletion

You hold the right to access, modify, or permanently delete your core data. Completing an account deletion places your profile into a 20-day grace period. If unrecovered, the system removes your core node ID, irreversibly wipes all private messages, and severs all links to your assets, leaving behind zero trace.
